About Me
Innovative solutions and advanced technology that will heal the world
My time at Old Colony has given me a solid foundation in Computer Science and helped me become fluent in several industry-used programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, React Native, and an introductory knowledge of C++. I am also very familiar with web design using HTML, CSS, and JQuery. I also bring a wide interest and skills outside of the computer lab
Throughout high school, I challenged myself academically while staying active in multiple extracurricular activities. I played football for 2 years, basketball for 1 year, and I participated in the theater group for my entire tenure at Old Colony, I also founded an Engineering Club that won a seat in the NASA TechRise challenge for 2024. In addition, I maintained high grades while in high school I took part in 5 AP courses: Environmental Science, Computer Science Principles, Literature, Language, Computer Science Applications.
Looking ahead, I plan to go to college at Hamilton College and pursue a double major pre-law and political science, with minor in theater or journalism. After completing my undergraduate studies, I intend to pursue further education at Harvard University and focus on Criminal Justice, Civil Law, and Constitutional Law, minoring in Corporate Law. My long-term goal is to build a career in the legal field where I can apply both my analytical skills and creativity to make a meaningful impact.
Python
The first coding language I learned in my highschool career, this language introduced me to basic syntax and logic
JavaScript
During Sophomore year this language was our main focus, from here I took the logic that I learned from Python and just applied it to different syntax.
Java
In Senior year, we fully developed our coding skills with Java, learning features like JavaFx to design UI for online applications. We also learned how to make a login and register space using databases
